The Maldives is the small exotic state located in the Indian Ocean west of India, consisting of something as distinctive as a group of atolls. Climate in the Maldives
In the Maldives, the country experiences rainy season a few times a year. The rest of the time it is relatively dry in the country and with average temperatures from 25 to 32 degrees all year round.
- High season: from November to April it is both dry and hot in the Maldives, which provides the best travel conditions in the country. In high season, temperatures range from 25-32 degrees.

Visa

- Danish extended passports are recognized.
- Danish temporary passports are recognized both on entry and exit. A stamp from the immigration authorities is required when leaving on a Danish temporary passport.
Vaccinations
For a trip to the Maldives, it may be advisable to get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and tetanus. Note that the vaccine against Hepatitis A should be taken approx. 2 weeks before entering the country. In addition, the tetanus vaccine should be taken approx. 1 week before entering the country.
